{REVIEW} Bubs for Babes

Bubs for Babes is a local owned business, selling baby goods such as the famous Starwrap, baa-baa baby comforters, sleepy sacks, to name a few.

So what makes Bubs for Babes different?

I met up with Iza, the owner of Bubs for Babes, at a local coffee shop where we got chatting about her innovative, and successful business. She personally delivered the baby shower box for me to review – which just goes to show the passion she has for what she does.

The Starwrap is a genius all-in-one soft hooded wrap, used to easily transfer you baby from home to car seat / pram or sling. You just pop your dressed baby into the star wrap, with one popper button, and he/she will be sure to stay warm. No blankets to kick off, no zips, buttons or flaps to tie once they are in their car seat. They are available in different sizes, with baby milestones in mind, (and this I love), because the 3-6 month star wrap has openings for the hands for them to get to those itchy gums!

What I love about the Starwrap?

Iza has made sure that she uses warm, yet breathable materials suitable for our climate, such as 100% cotton knit for summer, a soft coral fleece is used, especially for those cold winter days, to make sure your bubs stay snug, but don’t overheat. Placing the Starwrap on the baby, and taking it off couldn’t be easier, without waking him up once he has fallen asleep in the car seat during the car ride home. It’s big enough for him to move around in, yet snug enough to keep him warm and cozy.

Thank you to my nephew, Mason, for being our model and trying out the Bubs for Babes Starwrap! You are a star my boy!
