With the School Holidays coming up, I went on a hunt for some ideas to keep the kiddos busy!
I figured some DIY would be easier (and much more fun) than going out the shops to look for crafty things.
Moms, (and crafty Dads), get in the kitchen – This is the easiest recipe and works really well, it’s safe and edible, so you don’t have to stress if they start getting a little thirsty and decide to try some!
What you will need:
2 Tablespoons of Sugar
1/3 cup of Flour
2 Cups of Water
Mix all ingredients into a saucepan until smooth. Whisk for a few minutes on medium heat until the mixture thickens.
Divide the mixture into separate bowls (I used old purity jars), and individually add the food colouring.
Allow to cool.
